Architect Zaha Hadid has stretched herself before by designing something other than buildings (like this cutlery set) and she apparently liked the feeling because she's at it again, except now she's designing shoes. Hadid has partnered up with eco-friendly shoe company Melissa to produce this pair of crazy looking shoes in two different colors: red and black. Made primarily of plastic with sweeping lines and loops galore, these shoes are not particularly attractive (they look kinda like shredded up jelly sandals to me) but then lots of cutting edge fashion starts off being under-appreciated. Look for them to debut in September at the Dover Street Market in London for £200.

100% of the proceeds will go to benefit Public Television Rocks! in honor of their dedication to art, music, and culture.
Her hotel will apparently be environmentally friendly, although how exactly we're not sure -- except that she was quoted as saying "It's built with no fossil fuel at all... in Abu Dhabi - where they have all that oil."
Pamela was first inspired for the project after traveling to the area this past June with the Make a Wish Foundation. No word on what her hotel will be called, or when it will open for business.
Fashion stylist Phillip Bloch is moving on from simply fixing people's clothes to designing them from the ground up. He's teaming up with the contemporary Emma & Posh to come up with an all-cashmere collection for this year's holiday season. And if you're excited about this first attempt you'll be happy to know that both sides say this is only the beginning of what looks to be a long-term partnership. American men have been able to buy Armani undies since this past January and now women will soon be able to also: Armani has finally put together a line of women's intimates apparel for the United States. Launched today, the new line is divided into 4 subcategories (Gardenia, Tulipano, Camelia, and Lila) and is aimed to "satisfy the specific needs of the American woman" by addressing comfort, fit, quality, functionality, and (of course) great design. Look for the new line at the Georgio Armani showrooms in New York and expect prices to start somewhere between $12-$50.
A clutch that manages to be both simple and interesting, this Jimmy Choo Kase Oval Clutch is made of goldtone metal and features a single over-sized amethyst stone on the center of both sides. It's called The Buldang and it's a 30 foot long plush tube that's designed to be molded into any number of comfortable seating arrangements like an enormous sausage-shaped beanbag (although it's not filled with beans or beads). It does look comfortable but it also looks hilarious -- I don't think I could take it seriously unless it was in a kids room (think how much fun that would be!).
