Actually, I'm quite sure MST would get pissed if you simply referred to their "The Blue Car" as simply a toy car. The 12 pound hand-painted car arrives in it's own crate with gloves as to prevent getting your nappy paws on the four layer paint job. All this detail from a company with an unimaginative name (they're German, maybe it doesn't translate well), Magic Super Toys, can be had for just under 2000 Euro. I played rough with my Hot Wheels when I was a kid, so I wouldn't think too hard about getting one of these for your little boy.

Lots of money, for something less enjoyable than a matchbox car. Much less enjoyable. I can cover anything in 24k gold, does that make it worth its weight in lead? Some luxury items are a waste, and this is one of them.
