Beckham Gets Free Audi Q7
After having his armored BMW X5 stolen while eating lunch with his
sons, David Beckham was offered a
free Audi Q7 by Audi, which is the official sponsor of Beckham’s football team, Real Madrid. The car is his
for the next year with only one caveat: Beckham has to drive it to training every day.
The Q7 is loaded with every extra that the company offers, making it worth around £70,000. It is a 4.2FSI in phantom black with pearl-effect paintwork and matching black leather interior. It is equipped with a car phone, flat screen television, Bose stereo, satellite navigation and a keyless entry and starting system. The first thing Beckham did with his new car was take it to the track – a challenging, professionally built track near the Real Madrid training grounds, where he tested its maneuverability and 154mph speed under the eyes of professional drivers.

Nicole, I don't know where you are getting your facts from but the official sponsor for Real Madrid is Siemens. Next season (2006/2007) it will be Benq-Siemens. Everyone in the world knows that, as it was one of the largest sponsorship deals in recent football history.
All you had to do was go to www.realmadrid.com before making your posting.
Luxist is being let down by innaccurate postings. Recently, Deidre suggested that a scramjet rocket was Australian when infact it was a British rocket.
Sort it out.

MacroEQ - Real Madrid, in fact, has many sponsors, including Siemans, Audi and Adidas. A full list of their sponsors can be viewed here, at the Real Madrid website: http://www.realmadrid.com/patroc_eng.htm

I was in Durango, Colorado skiing at the beginning of March, and there were a dozen or so Germans staying at the Double Tree. Each had their own Audi with manufacturer plates and laptops wired in to the engine. I would assume they were testing on the winding mountain roads for cold weather testing and whatnot. If memory serves me, there was a Q7 (the first I'd seen), an S4, an RS4, an RS6, the new A8L, and a couple A3s.

MacroEQ, you're the one letting us down. Audi is a well known sponsor of Real Madrid..atleast to auto buffs.

#4 - I don't deny that in some capacity, Audi sponsor Real Madrid. I was correcting Nicole's error when she suggested that Audi was the THE official sponsor of the team. The official sponsor is the sponsor printed on a team's shirt. What should have been written was "which is AN official sponsor".
