Designer Versions of Vipp Wastebaskets Raise Money For Charity
The hooded man posing with a wastebasket
is none other than the ubiquitous designer Philippe Starck. Starck
participated in an event to design Vipp wastebaskets for a benefit to raise
money for children in Mozambique affected by AIDS. The event which included 30 French designers raised 35,000 euros
with 2800 euros being bid on Starck's bin alone. [via Charles and Marie]
