Designer Versions of Vipp Wastebaskets Raise Money For Charity

The hooded man posing with a wastebasket is none other than the ubiquitous designer Philippe Starck. Starck participated in an event to design Vipp wastebaskets for a benefit to raise money for children in Mozambique affected by AIDS. The event which included 30 French designers raised 35,000 euros with 2800 euros being bid on Starck's bin alone.
