We are willing to call this tent hotel thing a genuine luxury trend now that the Four Seasons chain has dipped their high thread count paws into the mix. The Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle is a new tent resort in Northern Thailand. There are 15 luxury tents with rain showers and posh bedding. The new hotel is designed to be a "soft adventure" offering active adults an all-inclusive two- or three-night trip that includes everything from elephant mahout training to cooking classes, formal campfire dinners and riverside drinks in the stilt-top bar. They are accepting reservations now and the hotel will open officially on Febuary 15, 2006.
